Our visit "one mo'e time" to the "Jersey Shore" was delightful and full of pleasant surprises. We spent a day or two in Brigantine New Jersey before heading down to Ocean City to catch up with Stu's brother Bob, his wife Sheila and their friends. They have a summer home in Margate, but, it is not accessible for us since there are low fixed bridges in the way. Before moving the boat south we had an adventuresome afternoon and evening taking our dingy Peep down and back on the Intercoastal to Bob's home in Margate. It was a beautiful afternoon and the trip was only 7 or 8 miles considering how the channels snaked around. We checked the charts and even printed out pages from our electronic charting system, just so we couldn't get lost. We discovered from the charts we could shorten the trip by cutting across the main channels and proceeded to get ourselves confused and aground on several occasions. Oh well, it was such a nice afternoon on the water. When we arrived in Margate we were surprised there wasn't a single dock that would welcome our dingy. Finally, a very nice gentleman offered to let us tie up at his house a short walk from Stu's brother's house. We gave Bob Cohen our card and headed out. Later, Bob left us a voice mail message that he was locking up. Fence climbing and getting lost...the story continues.
